OR will not recognize posted speed limits when newly placed, Jovet suggested that it might be a bug Attached is the log but do not see any errors pointing to this problem.

What do you mean by "when newly placed"?

New placement of limits, this route has speed limits other then set max authorized.

My question would be
'What controlled the speed in the block you are speaking of prior to you installing the new speed post?'
1. Route MAS? 2. Signal? 3.Prior speedpost?

Please do remember that Signal Speed over rides Track Speed and Track Speed over rides the route MAS.

My point is if you have a 'newly placed' speed post in a track block where a signal controls the speed, the signal rules and the speed post will be ignored.
regards,

It was controlled by MAS, shouldn't it pickup where the limits were set regardless?

Todd isn't very adept at explaining technical problems, so let me try and translate for him: He started placing SpeedPost speed limits on a route, but they apparently don't cause a speed limit change in OR.

Todd, did you set the speed limit to "Freight mode" and are only running power? A train with just engines is classed as "passenger" so a Freight-only speed limit won't apply to it.

And I'm not sure what other interactives you have on the route at the moment, but guessing you have some signals... so as Vince pointed out, are there any signaling speed limits active?

I had set it to both, was not running light power. No other interactives at the moment.
