Trying to run a game from 3d trains. It crashes, saying that the activity runner has stopped working. Something I can do about it.

Greetings

Sven

Please attach file OpenRailsLog.txt, so a diagnosis may be started.

OK. Will try. It seems it is about a file called tsection.dat. I have the log file on my desktop. How do I attach it to this reply?

Regards

Sven

Ah yes, strangely enough this subforum doesn't allow you to attach files. As an exception you can attach it (after having zipped it) in a private message to me.

Sven, there are some missing track sections in your installation. Pls. Check what your route requires (xtracks, which version of it and so on) and reinstall such add-ons.

I feel rather stupid. I do not know how to check what the route requires, what xtrack is about and which add-ons should be reinstalled. Maybe reinstall this add-on again?

What add-ons are needed is usually written in a readme file or in an installation guide or in a chapter of the route's manual.

I don't have this route. I see that you have installed it in the default train simulator folder. Are you sure that this route hasn't to be installed in a separate msts installation? (So-called mini-route)

Only 2 routes from 3dTrains Feather River and Sherman Hill both very detailed. Both require Scale Rail and Scale Roads not Xtracks.
