A second video of C&PW trains in Desert Springs. I've been playing around with a new method to making videos and this little project was a great way to test it out. I hope you enjoy! :)

Pretty good video editing there. What video tools are you using?

You shot this in OR, right?

Only basis for improvement that comes to mind is the PC you used isn't giving you the frame rates you need for smooth movement. There was always a bit of jerkiness there.

I use VideoPad Master's Edition for editing my videos. And yes it was in Open Rails, but I like to use the title "MSTS" because I feel that ORTS hasn't quite caught on yet in videos. But please do correct me if I'm wrong and I'll gladly swap it out. :)

As for frames, sadly my computer isn't the best. The RSD is one of the better running routes I have outside default ones. And higher demanding routes like Scenic or Surfliner 2 can give me as low as 10-15 FPS, or 5 on a bad day. I'm working on getting a new PC though because the one I currently use, was quite literally built from scrap parts laying around by a place called "CPU". So hopefully in the near future I'll have videos up that doesn't look like "slideshows with sound" as a friend jokingly put it. :lol2:
