Kind of bummed that I lost all of my Open Rails projects with my computer crash as I had a few almost done that I was getting ready to release. Oh well I guess it just makes it so I can make them even better the second time around. The locomotives I lost that were almost done were the NKP 765 and 759, PM 1225, C&O 614 and 2716, along with an updated UP 844 and a few others. Hopefully it doesnt take me too long to get back to where I was before. My plan is to eventually get a bunch of them done and then release them all at the same time. Good news is I have the MILW 261 and Rock Island 4-8-4s almost done and ready for beta testing if anyone would like to help me with that when it becomes time? I have a lot on my list as far as locomotives I would like to build or update so stay tuned to what I have coming up next. I never know what may pop in my head and get eager to work on next.

I am fascinated by these locos be now almost nothing about US railways. Can anyone recommend a route, with activities and stock available, where similar locos can be used?

Brandon I thought you lost these. Great to see the progress on them, can't wait to see them in the F/L here!! Thank you for giving us the chance to run these beautiful steamers!

I did loose them but I found the original files that Mike Knott sent over to me in an e-mail between us so I was able to finish the project up and do even a better job then last time. Lets just say its going to knock the socks off of everyone once I am all finished. My plan is to release Both the 261 and 765 along with other EXCURSION Locomotives in a separate pack and then go back and make a pack of just the locomotives as what they would have looked like in operation for the railroads in different variations and numbers. So far I have the MILWAUKEE ROAD 261 done and working on NICKEL PLATE 765 and 759 that also was in excursion service. These packs will be separate from the other pack. This way people who just want the excursion versions can get those and others that would like the way they were working for the railroads can have there way too. I am also in the process of doing new custom sounds for both locomotives and have other locomotive classes in the works but will not say what they are until I am about done with them. I have decided to expand my horizons and push myself along with Open Rails to see the capabilities of the new gaming system along with seeing how accurate and detailed I can make the models. None of these models would be possible if it wasn't for Mike Knott who was nice enough to send me the original TSM Files and let me take over the projects after he quit modeling and told me I could release them once I am done as long as I give him credit. I really hope I have given these locomotives justice in the virtual world and I am already having a blast testing them out myself.

Your welcome. I have many projects I want to do but never enough time to get to them or finish up the ones I have started. There is more to my models then just the models them selves because I also do custom sounds and physics as well.
