ALPHA TEST -- Asking the question "Does this even work?". Feedback to author (Genma Saotome / Dave Nelson).

A suite of standardized paths to be used to conduct various tests of cars and locomotives.

12 paths for testing ascending grades ranging from flat to 2.5%, varying from to to another by 0.25%; Paths are ~ 20 miles long.

13 paths for testing curves ranging from 60m radius to 3000m radius. With the exception of the 3000m curve, each curve turns 90d to the right then 60 to the left (no tangent present), 60 back to the left and finishes with 2000m of tangent run out so all cars in the test consist should be able to pass thru all curves.

A couple of paths for testing descending grades (more to come).

One path to test emergency braking on level ground.

The route uses Scalerail track, available from 3dtrains.com. You do not need to install track textures as they are included.

The archive is 7-Zip, which usually creates smaller archives.

The archive was created at the \routes level so the top folder in the archive is "Performance_Testing" -- the name of this route. Put the archive in your \Route folder and unzip the contents there.
