The 4000 series boxcars are older and a little smaller than the much more common 3000 series cars, and all remaining cars have been relegated to work car status. The cars were built, as modeled, with covers over the end and side door rollers and tracks, but most of these covers have disappeared through the years.

Please feel free to point out any defects, and give suggestions for possible improvements, of these models.

Again, my thanks to the many people who helped me develop this series of cars and especially to Howard Saunders who did the initial testing, the physics, and the final tweaking.
