I used this for my tests
	ORTSAdhesion ( 
	 ORTSCurtius_Kniffler ( 0.1 0.1 0.1 0.1 ) 
		)

and it worked. So I think also this
 ORTSAdhesion (
 ORTSCurtius_Kniffler (7.5 44 0.861 0.7 )
 ) 

should work.
Probably it is as Gehe says: OR does not like to have a nested block in the same line of the containing block.

That is the style also used in MSTS. Perhaps the manual should actually reflect this when showing lines of code to use in an eng file.

I've reviewed the relevant pages of the manual. Next release of the manual should mislead a bit less.

That would be a surprising (and serious) bug; please check this carefully.

If you dont use Advanced Adh. Model

And use Weahter Adh (options => expermintal tab)

How i can manipulate the adhesention in .eng file like MSTS. that some trains have more wheelslip…
