According to the manual the data logger is activated by either tick the box to run at start, or by pressing F12 after the start. This is supposed to produce a dump.csv file in the Open rails root. I have tried both methods with zero success. Looking the the Open rails log, even if the box is ticked, the data logger is shown as false, which to me means it was not switched on at the start. Has the data logger been disabled for any reason?.

This part is not correct as of X2873, after which Open Rails writes the data file to the Desktop (more specifically, the same folder as the log) to allow people to use the feature when they've installed Open Rails. And it's called "OpenRailsDump.csv".

The option "Data logger > Start logging with the simulation start" works for me (this is the "DataLogger" item in the log), as does the F12 toggle.

Thanks James. Did not think to look at the desktop, just followed the manual.
