Joseph, if you have time would you mind checking the sigcfg that is "bundled" with the TSRE5 new route please. I think it has a few defects. With your experience, you might easily be able to correct it in a fraction of the time it would take me. And 1 less chore for Goku, so I hope he won`t mind my suggestion. Hope I`m not out of order.

I do not see anything obviously wrong with the sigcfg.dat file. Well, other than the horrible default lime green signal color that is defined.
There are some groups "commented out" that should just otherwise be removed, but it shouldn't cause any errors.

What I do see wrong is the sigscr.dat file is missing. I don't know about OR, but MSTS will definitely complain about that.

Thanks Joseph. I didn`t know underscore _ commented out, So I wrongly concluded the sigcfg was faulty. I do hope the sigscr can be included in the new route template because new users will be stuggling with out it.
O/T the lime green is because no one under a certain age knows that signal lenses should in fact be blue. And I`m so glad of your crusade :D

The links are not missing. You can link signals using TSRE. One difference is that you need to enter the junction numbers instead of clicking on a track.

I can`t find any info about how to set up the Signal links.
I place the red triangle object on the tracks. I can see the 2 head signal ok. I click the box "show list" and I get a box "mainline stop arm" with a tick, and the second entry "Siding arm" ticked.
All looks good so far, but what to do next please?
thanks
Rick

New version: http://koniec.org/ts...SRE5_v0.628.exe

- group selection, group transtation and rotation, group copy-paste,

Unlike in old RE, my qroup functions works with any type of objects, including tracks! Copying track sets may be a little tricky at the moment.

Not all signals can be linked. Read guide for your signal script how to place signals.
If signal can be linked:

Goku, playing with your editor for the first time in a while, I would like to suggest some UI improvements.
The big one for me is when you select a mode from the panel on the right of the window, that button should highlight to remind you what mode you're in.

I've been trying out TSRE and I am having trouble setting gradients using the R key:

For left hand curves this works as expected but when I hit X to flip the track for a right hand curve and then try to set the gradient it breaks away from the section of track that it was attached. Is there a different process that I should be following to create gradients? I'm aware that this is a very basic question but I am new to route building and it's not always obvious on how to use the tools.
