Do you have OpenAL32.dll?
If not you can get it here.
Just place a copy in the same folder as TSRE.

Yes, I did have an issue with it and have experimented with both variants of the library (32 and 64, named 32 as well)
But that time, I at least had messages, that warn me about it's absence, so I position it properly at last.
This time-no any messages-the program and cmd-window of con-builder *.bat just shut-down some seconds after green button "load" pressing.

TSRE5 fails you with all routes?
Have you tried to delete all the files of the TSRE5 installation except the executable (.exe) and run this to create a new installation, Remember that you have to be connected to the internet to perform a correct installation.

TSRE probably crashes on some broken activity/consist file. Check log and solve problem with this file.

Thank again
The log is very long and unclear, but I'll try to search.
Does the error string start with "#"?
What do [I] tokens mean there?
I thought, the absence of shaders and resources folders is a problem.

libpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile

is it critical?
TSRE5_v0.699_ARCH
is it needed and what should I do with it?

After start, small navi window appears, then the program craches

I'd say you have some problem with the contents of the trains/consists/randomsets folder. Move it to another site and try again.

Well, I've noticed that (normally, my Consist folder don't have any subfolders, just hundreds of *.con-files)
I've created that subfolder and red at *.log, that there are 0 files there. After the same-looking crash.
I've copied one of consist-files there, and the only difference were, that "randomsets folder is containing...1 *.con-file".
I've download the new 32-bit version of Nov 2020 and run it to let installing all nessesary files fron I-net... then, it behaves the same way, like previous April version.

Hi Goku,

One thing . . .
Was there a resolution to the problem I had and discussed with you that when editing PRR East route where useTdbEmptyItems = true caused errors in the TIT, World & TDB?

If you'll remember, at that time you recommended I set useTdbEmptyItems = false. This did prevent further errors but I never heard if there was a resolution to the problem.

That's the only remaining nit I had to pick as all in all, TSRE is a very capable and powerful editor with many new features that made my extensive use in the PRR editing and now the LIRR build a pleasure. That plus the fact you always responded promptly to bug reports.
A really fine job!

Yes, it is fixed. Now TSRE checks if referenced track items belong to removed object before removing them. Also you have advanced track database error detection, so even if you encounter this kind of a problem, it is easy to find and fix. I think that TSRE5_v0.699.1 detects all TrItem related problems in Track Database.

Did TSRE ever work for you? Do you have OpenGL installed on your system?
