Would it be possible to place a little mark to show where the compass-position has to be read:

Try this: http://koniec.org/ts...RE5_v0.6952.exe

It appears that there is a major bug in the TSRE 0.6955 Activity Editor. When I modify a .trf file and hit the Save Activity button, TSRE asks if I want to save the .trf file. I tap "OK" and the .trf file is saved. So far, so good. But here is the bug--the traffic information in the .act file is not modified, even if other information in the .act file modified and the file is saved. So, apparently, there is no tie in the file saving routine to update an .act file with modified .trf information if the .trf file is modified and saved. OR also apparently reads the .act file for the traffic information. This leads me to question why OR needs the .trf file at all.

After modifying the traffic you need to reselect it in the activity traffic list. It will update activity traffic data. Remember that it will reset the timetable.

In activity you have the timetable, but in .trf file are the service definitions.

Hi,

Would I be able to eventually use the procedural track function to automatically generate and place telephone/telegraph poles with wires along right of ways?

Hi Goku,

Quick question; Will I be able to mix procedural track with the standard track we are all using now? IOW, join standard track to the new?

I would like to continue building the Long Island RR and would like the ability to continue the build with all the really beautiful switch assemblies that have been made available through the years.

regards,
vince

Yes, you will be able do disable this feature for shapes you want. But as I remember LIRR has very ugly tracks.

Hi Goku,
Ugly? http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/sorry2.gif
They're just plain ole' XTrack & YTracks for the all the slip switches.

Maybe you're thinking of the PRR in New York Penn Station with the no-frog switches? Agree with you there. That's my next PRR-East project, the Penn Station rebuild.

The track and ballast textures on the LIRR however are not to my liking, having to use the phony third rail texture.
No suitable third rail models are available and making a set of those would be a big project.

http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/sign_thank_you.gif for the clarification on procedural/standard track as I understand I can mix both track types in a route. We'll deal with what they look like when we get to that bridge.

best regards,
vince
