But now the Consist Editor included with 6951 (TSRE5x32_v0.6951.exe) throws the 0xc00007b error with the 64bit dll

You are doing it wrong. You must have only one TSRE exe file. 32 bit or 64 bit. Not two of them.

Goku I have a real problem with your compass and the direction it is showing.

I have a route from Rangiora to Oxford in the South Island of New Zealand and have placed markers using Google Earth.

The route runs East to West from the coast towards the mountains and on starting the route editor at Rangiora on the coast I am facing South, but if I turn to face WEST along the line of my markers your compass says I am now facing EAST!!!!!! Likewise if I go to my last marker placed and look back along my markers it now says I am looking WEST but it should be EAST

North and South do show as correct

The compass works just like MSTS RE compass, facing north, but in msts tile projection. In places where IGH projection is skewed, it will show false results.

Sorry Goku but I don't agree. If I open the same route in MSTS Route Editor then line up my markers I am facing WEST (270) degrees which is correct, not EAST (90) degrees as your compass shows

Sorry. Indeed the compass rotation turns wrong direction. North and South are good, but West and East are replaced. One "-" and it's fixed.

So, does the openAL32.dll works with 32 bit TSRE? Then I need to find 64 bit version for TSRE. Caution, name of openAL 64 bit dll file is also openAl32.dll.

edit: try this file for 64 bit TSRE:

http://koniec.org/ts...64/soft_oal.dll

Remember to rename it to: OpenAL32.dll

The 64-bit version works correctly with the new dll. Thanks for your job.

Does this openal error comes just instantly when clicking TSRE, or later?
If later, it's sad that probably the dll file can't be downloaded automatically.

Thank You for the compass.
Would it be possible to place a little mark to show where the compass-position has to be read:

The opening error appears instantaneously when executing TSRE5_v0.6951.exe without letting download any file. Once this the dll connects to the Internet and downloads the rest of the files.
