Thanks Goku,
I have selected
fogColor = #FFFFFF
fogDensity = 0.4

Up to what viewing distance do you load normal terrain? In my not very fast computer loading may be quite slow. In the settings file there is already an objectLod parameter, which I assume defines up to which viewing distance objects are loaded. Could you insert two similar settings parameters for normal terrain and distant mountains max viewing distance?

Radius of normal terrain tiles rendered. MSTS default is 1

tileLod = 3

Radius of meters to display objects. MSTS default is 2000

objectLod = 6000

DM are fixed to 90 km.

Also, if you have slow hard disk, you may want to decrease number of loading threads. Settings.txt options are described in TSRE Guide.

Also, in current TSRE version Terrain rendering use much more GPU, because I forgot to implement skipping not visible terrain patches in new Terrain Renderer. So, it's 4x more polygons to render.

Bug found: there is lag during object selection, when new terrain renderer is enabled.
If it's annoying you can disable new terrain renderer in settings.txt

useQuadTree = false

It has been a great idea to incorporate the reload of the .ref file

In my case, that I have designed a tool to manage an important collection of objects, I find it frankly useful.

Thank you for this work that was so necessary to bring this simulator back to life.

I've got report that some tiles in one route are not visible in new quadTree terrain renderer.
Can anyone check other routes if there is another example of this behaviour? :
- tile visible in MSTS but not visible in TSRE. Don't report OR differences, because OR doesn't use quadTree.

I've found a possible bug on TSRE with speedlimits, or maybe I'm doing something wrong...
I have my own route created with MSTS. Now I've discovered TSRE it's time to come back with it.

For example I have a four track line with a 100kph speed limit sign. The speedlimit runs over the four tracks and the signal shows a big and clear "100" when I run the route on OR.
Now I'm going to edit my route with TSRE, and I put another speed limit signal. "Place new", click over the first track and it appears a grey diamond with a speedpost object.
I move the object beside the track and set the limit to 80kph for example. There is only one grey diamond over the first track so I press the "expand" button and three new grey diamonds are shown over the other tracks.
SAVE and it seems it's alright.

When I run the route on OR the signal only shows a big "0" instead of "80". The speed limit is right if I drive on the first track, but there is no speed limit at all on the other tracks.
I've checked the route with the track viewer tool, and I've discovered that as it's shown on OR, the speed limit set over the first track is 80, but over the other tracks is set to "0".
Back to the TSRE, it seems everything's alright. I can pick over the four grey diamonds and all show the "80" speed limit. There's no difference between them.

What's going wrong?

Another question...
It could be possible to allow copy and paste the position and rotation of a signal, for example to put directional lights or another object with the same position?
Thanks
