Sorry if this has been asked before, but with 169 pages it's a bit too much to read thru...
I am having trouble with Dynamic Track. When I place it, it is reversed, when you extend it, it goes back over the all ready placed track.
I have tried searching with Google to find any info on TSRE5 and dynamic track to no avail. The best I get is a thread but not an individual post(s).
I have the Manual open all the time but Dynamic Track is not mentioned ?
Is there a specific way or key press to get DT to snap at the correct end ?

I have this problem as well, and have not found a solution.
Delete the misbehaving track piece.
Save the route.
Close then reopen TSRE5 and start with your dynamic track.
All should work OK, but you will find a bit later on that the problem is back. I do not know what triggers it going wrong.

Re: Dynamic Track ...
1. Place DT section; If it starts extending in wrong direction, grab the DT with mouse and re-attach to where you want. It now should extend in the correct direction.
2. Pressing the Reset Rot button when failure happens also seems to correct the problem.

vince

Thanks Vince, I have tried it since a restart and it works as it should, but will also try your method should the problem occur again.
I did try re-attaching once and while it was good enough for a TDB it was a really bad joint...
One thing I did not try was pressing R and rotating it manually thru 180 deg ?
I think I might just try to avoid using it...

So you too doubt the credibility of my assertion that my issue is NOT a performance problem. Take a look at my Digital Storm system:
Delta.speccy.jpg (104.11K)
Number of downloads: 7
Beyond that, none of my other 3D graphics applications (or games) -- some of which were written by me -- exhibit that problem, including Unity's editor (with a much more complex scene like Viking Village).
I ask only that you hold off on your performance prognostications until Goku gets a chance to comment on my problem.
