Hi Goku,
A while back I ask you to provide a way to set the track Elevation in degrees. You said you would do this. Meanwhile I have been struggling with setting the track elevation with the two notations you provided and their operation does not make sense to me.
Example:
++1. I place a track section A1t120r20d.s, X to flip curve, and I want a 0.26% grade (0.150 degree slope).
++2 In the 0/00 field I type in first a 2, track raises a little, type in ' . ' (decimal point) and the track
UNEXPECTEDLY raises more than the first time. I'm pretty sure typing a decimal point
should not raise track elevation. No?
Now I type in the last digit 6 . . . field shows 2.6 and the track raises again.
Now deselect and then re-select the track . . .Elevation field shows a 14.5996% grade!
TYPED IN 2.6 IN ELEVATION FIELD

RESELECT AND NOW ELEVATION SHOWS 14.5996%

Your Elevation display does not match either MSTS or OR. MSTS I could care less but PLEASE notate (label) your Elevation display the same as Open Rails does in the Track Monitor display.
All I want is a stretch of curved track at a gradient of 0.26% which is 0.150 degrees.
Please tell me how to do that. What should appear in the Elevation field?
Okay I see there's a bug with flipped track going wacko but please have the display show as Open Rails does.
Your % calculation seems to be suffering from a misplaced decimal point where TSRE 5.0 Elev. shows as 0.5 in OR.
regards,
vince
edit new info: This only fails when I use the X key to flip the curve.
more: It fails on ANY track that I flip. I used a 20m Strt track and it too ended up with 14.5669% Elevation.
