I think signals are 100% like in MSTS now.

I haven't tested it but I could guess that the functionality is identical, which is good.
But the appearance if signal shapes in TSRE is still not right. Optional signal parts need to be hidden unless they're turned on by a signal option.

Another suggestion: The subordinate windows (such as the "Navi"gation Window) should be owned by the main TSRE window. Owned windows should automatically stay on top of their owning windows, and also automatically hide themselves when the owning window is minimized (for example). This is not currently the case.

It requires better shape file support. Don't know if it is good to make it now, or do it later and now something else?

Don't know how to fix it now.

The issue is some oddities in the text display (see attachment).

TSRE does not support custom DPI now.

I hope next version will fix this "odd" display.

Oh my goodness, Goku what a huge difference this update made for me! I didn't even know what I was missing because for the most part it worked. But my tired old eyes are now much happier!

I've worked out how to place loose consists (clicking the place objects button, then clicking the consists list then clicking on the route, then clicking the button again . . . in case anyone else has the same initial mystified uncertainty as me). Once I got it, I find it a pretty delightfully easy process. Nicely done!

Thank you!!

Christopher

Can you show me how it looks now? I don't have that kind of screen :)

Yes, it is beginning of an activity editor. The trains are loose consists.
But, "exact simulation to test the activity" - no.

Hi Goku,

I have read all the previous pages until my last post here.
I'm very happy to read that indeed it was what I thought: An OR dedicated activity editor.
It's not a problem that it is not possible to test it in TSRE. To be honest, all I needed was to have a "basic" AE as you have now just so I can avoid using MSTS AE.
I have been doing all my paths with the Track Viewer and I only used the MSTS AE to insert traffic and create the player service. Nothing else.

Looking forward to see all the new updates. Thank you for your work once again. :)

Goku,
re the terrain colour painting feature it would be nice if the colour could be selected by clicking on a point of the texture, or if one could delimit the part of the texture to be taken by the brush to paint.

You can get the color from screen using "Pick Screen Color" button in color window.

Delimit the part of the texture is something to do in the future.

Goku, The information contained in Rich's manual is well worth the $10 one time price for the book. I would think a little bit about getting it for your personal reference as you write your own activity editor.
