The title sums it up pretty much, as well as this picture:

Attached File  NoTracksShown.JPG (28.22K)
Number of downloads: 1

You can see lots of siding markers in there, some junctions and signals too - but none of the black lines indicating the tracks are there, as well as none of the purple boxes indicating static trains in the ACT file I just loaded into the sim.

What´s going (wr)on(g) here? And how to fix it?

Cheers, Markus

OK, and what exactly do these keys define?

Cheers, Markus

That does not seem to work. I exported the key you mentioned first to a *.REG file, then deleted the key, and ran the AE - still no tracks, and the key has not been recreated.
Changing the entry you mentioned last to the value you specified (mine was different) didn´t change anything either.

The second path you mentioned doesn´t exist on this system.

I´m wondering if this could have something to do with my graphics card settings. I´ll check those now.

Cheers, Markus

Indeed the issue is related to Graphics Driver settings. For my AMD Radeon HD car, I opened Catalyst Control Center (CCC) and changed all 3D rendering settings to "Use application settings". I then opened AE and the track were there. It´s now down to finding out, which of those settings is the offending one.

Some more experimenting later, I have boiled matters down to the Anti Aliasing settings I´m using. Simply disabling them by checking "Use application settings", everything´s back to normal.

Thus, problem solved :clapping:

Cheers, Markus

PS: I didn´t get the idea this could be related to the Graphics Driver settings out of the blue - I seemed to recall reading about it somewhere on the forums, but couldn´t find it doing a quick search. This makes me wonder, should this thread possibly be spiked?
