It's time I released something, so here is a preview of my updated standard gauge slopeback tender. Because the design was more or less generic, although this is more like Baldwin's, it's suitable for any locomotive that used the type. K27s originally had slopeback tenders, apparently, but they were soon discarded in favour of the standard rectangular tender body style.

For Open Rails. The tender has ((BazzaMotion)) - not sure if this still works in OR with a WAG file instead of an ENG (cheat)..

Hi Cap,

This is pretty cool. I've been looking for drawings of this type of tender (For doing an SP&S 0-6-0), can you direct me to where I could obtain such docs?

Did you ever release this?

Cheers! ;)

Hi Tim,

It's a typical Baldwin tender of the type (slopeback.) There is an earlier version included with M&U #5, but the one I'm working on is updated, with some texture 'fixes', etc. Should be ready soon.

The plan I found in the Kalmbach Cyclopedia Vol1 Steam. It's not to hand ATM, but I could dig it out, I hope.

Cheers Bazza.

Hi Barry,
Thanks, I'll be looking forward to it. I'll download the M&U Mogul and tender and have a look at both those models.

That's a book I should have in my library -but don't. Yet. Thanks for the tip!

Here's the tender I need to make. The engine is an ex-Northern Pacific L-9 0-6-0 with a Great Northern styled cab. Should make an interesting loco.

Seems like "soon" is like your proverbial length of string. Like death and taxes, it's coming....

Cheers Bazza.

You have a PM, Tim. I guess I found the end of the string....not sure which end, as I started in the middle...:cool3:

Cheers Bazza.
