NVLW New Hampshire Northcoast GP38-2 set.

Description:
This package provides two GP38-2's in the New Hampshire Northcoast scheme. Numbered #3823 and #3825 painted as close as to the real units as possible. Model used is not 100 percent accurate, but does the job. The model requires you to have the BNSF Scenic Sub package. SLI Cabview is used, while the sounds are alaised to the GP38 set from Ron Furto. Requires shape file file modification. Repainted and Packaged by Shawn Kelley, A Northern Vermont Locomotive Works repaint.

Installation Process:
First thing you will need to do is unzip into a temporary folder.
Go into your trains/trainset/sli.bnsf folder. Copy the following files:
BNSF_GP38_2_2117.s
SD40_GLASS.ace
SD40_INT.ace
Cabview Folder
Make sure you copy the shape file twice. Change them to the accurate number needed. So you have NHN_GP38_3823.s and NHN_GP38_3825.s.
You will need to go into the shape itself, so you will need to uncompress them through any program such as Route Riter.
Open Route Riter, and open the file location into both left and right boxes of Route Riter.
In the left box click on the shape files, as well as the right box.
Under MSTS Files Utils, click the "Uncompress S, T, & W files". Once this process finishes, you will need to click the files again in both boxes, and then click the "Unicode to ASCII"
Once finished, you will be able to go into the shape file, using notepad as desired.
hit ctrl f to open the find box and type in Images.
In both shape files, change the appropriate image file name from BNSF_GP38_2117a to NHN3823a and NHN3825a as well as BNSF_GP38_2117b to NHN3823a and NHN 3825b
Once finished, save both files, and go back to route riter, the files should still be highlighted.
Click "ASCII to Unicode", and then "Compress S, T & W files" Once finished, close out of route riter.

Next, make sure you have the appropriate sounds. rf_gp38_sound_set_a.zip and rf_gp38_sound_set_b.zip from trainsim.com.
Make sure they are installed into the Trains/Trainset/Common.Snd/rf_gp38_sound_set_a/SOUND and Trains/Trainset/Common.Snd/rf_gp38_sound_set_b/SOUND folders.

Once done, you can move the NHN_GP38s folder, to your trains/trainset folder, create a consist, and you are set to roll.
