I have a problem with the translation of the Orts.Simulation file. I find 7 strings that start with "Str. Brk." I guess "Brk" is "Brake" but I'm not able to figure out what "Str" means. They would be so kind to tell me its meaning. Thanks.

Looks like a program code, but not in-game text...

If they appear in the .po file after updating with Orts.Simulation.pot in Poedit, presumably it is game text, not program code. The strings are exactly:
Str. Brk. Release On:
Str. Brk. Release Off:
Str. Brk. Release:
Str. Brk. Lap:
Str. Brk. Apply:
Str. Brk. Apply All:
Str. Brk. Emerg:

Hello.
I've seen them at POEdit too.
Maybe, that's Straight-acting Brake?
If I guess right, then, try to see here about them.
It's needed to see recent changes descriptions at Openrails.org,
or better, ask Peter Newell, as he works on historical brake systems implementation.

Str. Brk. is an abbreviation for Straight Braking. So, the first link reported by Weter should give some insight about what is meant with it.

Okay. Thanks to both of you, the concept is already clear to me.

Gracias muchos to Cesar Ы! Long life to him!
Now Brake system's points of pressure measurement names looks nice, but...

Some larger spaces are needed for more clear HUD reading and one (X-marked) is excessive.

WRT new string
Diesel engines stopped after startup

Is it means, that initially, primary engine of player locomotive is stopped and have to be started by player (as steamers cold start option)?

Hello.
Advancing my translation work, I encountered some new issues.
There are some strings, that seem to be not actual interface text, so they shouldn't be translated (changed) More strictly-they shouldn't be extracted by Gettext.
First two examples are sprtr and sprtr dark gray: they are separators (horizontal lines) in driving aids windows, so there is no reason to substitute them by any translated text. I guess, they were equipped by appropriate tags by mistake.

Thanks for pointing it out.
In this case, Sprtr and SprtrDarkGray are internal keywords and there is no reason to translate them.
Will be fixed.
