hree (3) C&S 3-Foot-Narrow-Gauge 30-Foot Short Reefers: #501, #509, #515

In 1909, the Colorado & Southern built twenty (20) new 30-ft-long 25-ton capacity Refrigerator Cars
with "composite" steel & wood underframes to replace the older 26-foot Reefers inherited from the
predecessor railroads. These cars were originally numbered #500 to #519.

The Cars in this set (#501, #509, #515) have the as-built hardware and "Block-Lettering" paint scheme,
that lasted until about 1914. They are provided Loaded and Empty.
