Last night I tried to update to X2768 and I got the above message. Still doing it this morning. Is anyone else having this problem? My options are set to the nightly update. Thanks.

Mine just opens a standard Microsoft window saying updater has stopped working, search for a solution or close the program. I deleted the open rails folder, downloaded 2767 and installed it. Got the notification that 2771 was available and got that MS window again. Any ideas anyone.

I got a similar window but only saying Open Rails updater has stopped working and close the program.

This has happened twice to me. Each time i downloaded the latest Supporters' Download and simply pulled out updater.exe, replaced the one in my current install, and ran it successfully each time. It's as if the updater corrupted itself after one run. I may try an update this evening, so we'll see what happens... :pleasantry:

Edit: Yep, happened again -- the updater quit with the generic Windows "program has stopped working" message. Dragged and dropped a fresh copy of updater.exe into my Open Rails application directory, re-launched OR and clicked the update link and it went through the update with no issues. So... I'll run some trains and see what happens tomorrow... :whistling:
