The numbers on the digital display and the F5 view do not match and and the difference roughly equates to the difference between metric and imperial speed measurements. The cvf file in my locomotive uses Units ( KM_PER_HOUR ) for speed indication. When the F5 view displays the loco doing 70 km/h the digital display shows 40.

I'm having issues with dial speedometer scaling, it's not matching up. Also I noticed that in Jijun's cab, the digital display shows the speed correctly in km/h, but the dial speedometer (which is marked as km/h) is showing the speed in miles per hour. Is anyone else seeing this?

Can you please check in your .s file, if the last line of the corresponding anim node is not doubled? E.g. this is wrong:
            anim_node SPEEDOMETER:0:0 (
               controllers ( 1
                  tcb_rot ( 4
                     slerp_rot ( 0 0 0 0 1 )
                     slerp_rot ( 1 0 0 0.92388 0.382683 )
                     slerp_rot ( 2 0 0 -0.707107 0.707107 )
                     slerp_rot ( 3 0 0 -0.707107 0.707107 )
                  )
               )
            )

I have seen such a problem in the past, causing symptom you describe. In this case you must remove the last line.

I couldn't get any of the gauges showing right until this last cab I made. Everything is real close on it.
I thought it was the changes JTang made that fixed it, cause I don't know of anything I did any different.

They need to be defined in the .cvf file for 2d cab.

I got the digital speedometer to work, but not other digital controls. I have brake_cyl, brake_pipe, etc. defined in the .cvf file, but in the 3D cab it looks like they are blank rectangles -- do they need a different .ace file?

What modeling program do you use desksoft??

I "THINK" I just figured out part of my problem. I use gmax and have made a standard GP\SD cab that I planned on using in a couple different engines. Exported it for one engine and it worked fine. Merged it with another engine and exported and all the gauges were off.used the same cvf file, checked the engine file.......couldn't figure out what was wrong.

Went back to gmax and looked at both, the frame count on animation for one was longer than the other. Changed it and both are close to what the F5 hud shows.

So what I'm tryin to say in all that is, make the animation frame number only as long as you have to to .

I haven't worked on the dash9 cab with digital gauges in a bit, but the last time I did I could get the didital speedometer and the air gauges to work, but not any of the others ......direction, throttle position etc.......
