[CC&C #15]

This here is for screenshots that have either weird power lashups, locomotives painted for railroads that never owned them, and the like.
And this doesn't have to be just fictional railroads only, if y'all wanna do real railroads in MSTS form, those will work also.

One such thing I just completed is a "What if" scenario in which a few Santa Fe F7s survived into the early years of the BNSF era:

It doesn't help that BNSF4324 and I were developing some of the most ridiculous crossing setups imaginable for this fictional on a skype call the other night. Maybe a Billups Signal with UK Gate Crossings? Dialights and a WC Hayes E-bell on a wigwag? It just kept getting...weirder.

Here's a crazy lashup on a LSR&C local, seemingly planted decades into the past...

Dustin, you call that crazy? A GP35, F7B, and GP9 was the normal for the LSRC.


On the other hand, The workers thought it would be funny to put this lash up together...
An SW1200, F7B, SD70M-2, and a GP9 pulling a set of unloaded coal cars back to the BNSF interchange.
It has been awhile since the SW1200's got a work out like this, but the other units were use to it.

Of course, Shortly after this, the SW1200's were sold off, the F7 units became sidelined for the OCS trains, and the GP9's slowly became retired, with the GP35's taking their place.
Best part about this picture too is, you got the three different schemes the LSRC had, The classic and original Red and Blue, the Black and Blue "coal" scheme, and the current Green and Yellow scheme.

Well, I see them as buying somewhat newer power, such as GP38-2s and the like while buying bigger six-axle units for heavier trains. With that in mind, seeing a lashup like that is somewhat uncommon.

Also, this is the closest I've ever come to Dogerail.

My apologies for going along with the title of this topic, and for being a part of the original LSRC development team, which led to my crazy lash up. I'll go back to my fictional corner now..
