File Name: 12 Ton Shay Engine File
File Submitter: Grip
File Submitted: 23 Sep 2014
File Category: NG Steam Locos

This is a revised engine file to make the 12 Ton Shay, available in the download section of Elvas Tower, compatible with the current versions of Open Rails (Up through version #2506). Perhaps the Open Rails gurus will eventually figure out how to make this engine work correctly; in the meantime this file will stand in the gap. Check the screenshot file to see how it works for me. As usual, I will not take any responsibility for damage done to your computer by this file. You may have to alias the cabview (I can't remember if I changed it). Happy narrow gauge railroading!

Correct. One of my favorite engines. You did a wonderful job.

I tested it and it seems to work! Although, I had to reduce the MaxVelocity from 7 to 5 to get a more realistic speed out of it which should be around 12mph.
