I don't usually get out that often, but when I do I go railfanning with some of my friends including ThatGensetFoamer. Here's five of my best "Railpictures-style" shots, including museums and station fanning.

November 9, 2013, my first serious fanning attempt with my friends down in San Clemente, caught F59PH 864 roaring Southbound past a beach crossing where we camped out for a train before moving more south at San Clemente Pier.

December 14, 2013, two friends and I headed down to San Pedro to go ride the 500-Class replicas at the Waterfront Red Car. We rode it both ways before we headed off to the Lomita Railroad Museum.

December 21, 2013, was waiting at Fullerton Depot for a friend's train and shot this side-by-side of a northbound Surfliner and a stopped BNSF freight. Got the timing right!

Valley Seven 717 leaning into the East wing of the Orange Empire Railroad Museum, which immediately came after I picked up my friend from Fullerton and drove all the way to Perris, it was the first time I ever visited the museum.

April 14, 2014, my last major railfanning run and my first chase, I caught these two GEVOs trundling past 3751 and caught about 78 years of railroading history between them at San Bernardino Railroad Days.
Hope everyone likes my shots, I tried to get the best angles out of all of them without compromise. Now that I got a tripod, I at least take better photos!

Haven't seen 'em blown up that big, but for no tripod you did very well--they're very crisp, have minimal blur, and the lighting's pretty solid!
Also, here's a 6th wedge shot pulled from your Fullerton gallery that "makes it all complete". By most standards it's a rather "plain Jane" wedgeshot, but lighting / framing-wise it's the next logical step in the photography chain.

These photos are absolutely beautiful! Living on the east coast I appreciate seeing some west coast trains.http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/sign_thank_you.gif
