If starting a new Topic, be sure to preface the name with the OR version, and a brief idea of the problem. This helps alert the developer, or developers, most likely able to help solve a particular type of problem.


Please provide as much detail as possible in the first post.

The version of Open Rails.

A description of the bug, or problem.

Details of the situation where you experienced the problem, such as the route, including which particular version of it if that applies. Also the motive power and consist make-up. Whether the problem occured in Explore Mode, or during an Activity and if so provide the activity details, too.

It is a good idea to provide system details, such as OS and hardware, as well.

The developers also request an attached copy of the OR log file, usually found on your Desktop.

By providing this information it gives the developers a better chance of resolving the issue/s.
