Set #3 of Fifty foot PS1 boxcars photographed in White River Junction VT, c.1972 by Chuck Bohi. Reskin by Christopher Parker. Cars built in early 60's, late 50's (with period paint schemes) but include post 1967 details of ACI labels and some removed roofwalks. Model by Larry Goss. Perfect for most routes of the era.

The WP 3rd sub from 3dtrains uses the WP's 1964 track chart (post construction of the Oroville Dam which necessitated a significant line change). These cars would fit in very well as boxcars were still pretty free-rolling over the nations tracks, esp. in auto-parts service which were often composed of cars taken nation-wide and formed into industry pools.

Yes, when you have the advantage of a little cross section of cars all photographed from the same location as these were, you can see the free running in effect. However I don't believe much if any auto parts moved through White River Junction, at least not in 1972. (In earlier years there was a Ford Assembly plant in Somerville . . . now known as Assembly Square and also some parts factories on the New Haven).

The wagon file NYC_46481_XM_50_DD_LD.wag contains an error on the line Wagon ( NYC_46481_XM_50_DD
The Wagon line is not the SAME as its FILENAME.
The Wagon line should be Wagon ( NYC_46481_XM_50_DD_LD
