I am wondeirng if the program of Shape File Manager will work inside the folder of FFEDIT under the folder of UTILS in the program of Microsoft Train Simulator in Windows 7? I have see the messages over at other forum of trainsim that this program will not work? I wonder why is this program of Shape File Manager not working in Windows 7? I need to uncompress the ace file to change the word before compress the ace file. Will the program of Route Riter work with this? If yes, then which part of Route Riter should I use to uncompress the ace file and change the word then compress the file again?

Your help would be appreciated!

John

SFM does work with Win 7, I have had it working for over 2 years now. I have mine in its own folder outside of the train sim folder. It does however need to know the exact location of FFedit_unicode which can be set using the Settings button. I have even taken the trainsim drive out of one computer, put it into another one with a different drive letter and SFM still works.
