I am glad you enjoy the look Dustin. I'm considering a rounded portion to hold the lettering so it stands out a bit more ala some of the early CNW-UP streamliners. As of now, I feel it needs to stand out some more.
Regarding the cars, I may have mentioned in the past how some ex-C&O coaches were painted. While the upper portion of the car was painted in green and yellow, the bottom where the fluting was was left unpainted. That's the effect I'm going to go for on DMMCs cars.

Until I get the fleet built, they'll be seen on their typical freight assignment, TOFC trains, which suits them well.
