...the Thousand Islands are a natural beauty shared by the United States and Canada. On the north side of the Saint Lawrence River was a little railway that would bring you into the gateway to this region and serviced its industries. What was it like to take the train into Gananoque? We'll find out in this review...at the railyard!

Great review, as always, Nick!

Just one point: The download link you provided firstly isn´t on TS.com, but ET, and secondly (yet, that´s probably not your fault) doesn´t work...

Cheers, Markus

Thanks for watching Markus. I put TrainSim as an alternative place to download (and I can't directly link to the file in that library). The ET link is working for me; is anyone else having issues with it?

I'm not having any issues. Great review, by the way! I might consider downloading this one.

Great little route I've loved for quite a while now. And amazed to see a plane actually flying in your review Nick. Did you rig that up, or is it actually in a activity/ I know Paul put all this extra track work in for boat and plane AI and I guess Player excursions. But didn't think he actually had any plane AI's in the act's? I keep craning my head out the cab window hoping to catch one, but haven't so far.

And the other big question - did you do the review in OR or MSTS? It's so smooth in your clips, where I still get a good FPS drag in the warehouse area.

Excellent review Nick. As always. Spotted it a work yesterday and couldn't wait to get home to watch where I could take it all in.

Paul's routes have so much charm. The trees and foliage look really good. Very nice colors.

:good:

Best,
Paul :(

Hi Steve,

Yes, the Piper Cub is set as AI traffic in the activities along with the tour boat. The Cub follows the CN mainline west to the Gan River, then south to the St Lawrence, does a 180 and heads north again, so it's up long enough you should see it somewhere along the route.

Paul :-)

The issue is, when I open the ET link, I get t another page, where on the bottom I find a "Download this file" link. Clicking that one, I get this:

Quote

[#10867] We could not find the file specified

from the forum software.

That´s why I said, it probably isn´t your fault, Nick. :)

Rather, it probably is some mess the software´s doing... :good2:

Cheers, Markus

I tried the link too and it appears the route which has been here since 2010 has been removed from the library recently. I gen a 1 pixel black screen for the screen shot and nothing when I try downloading the file. Now even Nick's video is just a big blank.

Paul

No problems here, Nick.
