It has turned up in other thread discussions that MSTS Bin compatible sound was set to true by default, however, it is still listed as an option in the Audio options tab.Can this option be deleted? --- it is no longer needed.

Yes, I believe we can safely delete this option now.

We set it on by default way back in Feb 2014.
