We were about to start a multiplayer session when we realized that none of us where connecting to the server as the information doesn't pop up on the "tsimserver.com" webpage... Anybody having trouble as well?

:rofl2:

Also tried on a Peer to peer connection on a LAN network and did not recognized any computer with OpenRails on. It started on X.1900 as well.

Thanks for your time and have a happy new year.

It is due to the problem in GameStateRunActivity.cs, where in GameStateRunActivity.Start the function of ReplaceState is called causing all connection to be aborted. Not sure how to fix it yet.

Fixed in X1913.

This code was meant for a different game state, but I am staggered it didn't break anything else (or that nobody noticed).

Hmm I still have problems in X1913 2013-12-31 16:30:40
Not sure if it's the same. Someone CAN start a session on TSsimserver.
But I'm unable to join, OR forces me into singleplayer. Otherway around same problem. Hosting my own (which I usually do) also gave a similar problem.

I'm sure my server works, as yesterday 1 person could connect, and 2 others not. (Tried various versions, including the current experimental, X1912 and 0.9)
(Might it be the "Can join" tick box which doesn't work properly?)

Solved, clients named there route folder wrong.

It happens again on X.1919.

You must have some other problem, because the issue fixed before has no reoccurred. I checked the code in the debugger and the multiplayer code is still being shut down when you quit, and not before.

I just tried with a server and a client instance of OR on the same computer and MP works, the two instances see themselves. If I however try to connect to the tsimserver I get this message
Warning: System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: Impossibile stabilire la connessione. Rifiuto persistente del computer di destinazione 74.50.121.14:20947
I think it is a problem on the tsimserver, because I see only an available port there, while usually there are more ports, and also because I get the same error with V1888.

Thanks, I'll try it again with my own LAN network.
