Still plugging away... what few period photos I have are used to compare to the models and when they come into my hands later than the models there's a brief period of assessing differences and deciding whether I want to fix anything.

One such photo next to a similar view in OR:

Hmmm... a roof needs to be changed, center left... maybe I should do the river edge sooner than later... but on the whole, not too bad.

Think your bridge is upside-down too.

Just barely started... a bobtailed, pin linked, swing bridge.

That's an interesting one, can't say I've ever seen half a swing bridge before!

Interesting watching your route progress, reminds me of an N scale layout that appeared in one of the model railroad magazines ten or so years ago... nice Milwaukee branch down along one of the rivers in Chicago but I don't think it's the same as your working on. Would also make a nice switching route.

Paul :-)

Actually it is the same -- along Kingsbury St. It was done in HO scale too.

You've done an EXCELLENT job of capturing the look and feel of the prototype! Well done, Dave!

That's it, the Kingsbury St branch! Thought the guy did a great job on the layout eve if my memory is getting a little rusty! Looks a little different without the selective compression and your including the larger yards...

Paul :-)
