In my instance (using MSTS as the sim platform) the train pulls into the yard and waits, this is designed to give the player time to remove the caboose, hook up a new one, and also to remove and hook up new power, then begin the acitivty with this consist as the player consist.(this does in fact work in MSTS) In Open Rails the traffic train vanishes immediately upon entering the yard, no time to hook up new power. Seems like the solution is to experiment moving the waiting point until the traffic train pulls in and waits while the new power is hooked up. I wonder if the train will still vanish when the waiting time period is up?
