I'm using it in OR. You know I never thought about it when building the consist. It said AI only when added as the lead engine and I knew about the cabview, so I just installed a temp cab and then rebuilt the consist. She's a beauty to run, haven't got into any switching yet. Thank you sir, what a neat little boxcab!
As a further up-date; I changed out the cabview to another and the cab sounds work perfectly, go figure?!

Seems like a post I made yesterday has 'disappeared'!
I didn't strike a problem making a consist because I use a 3rd party consist editor called TNF. It's purely for assembling consists and saves as .CON, which you place in the MSTS Consists folder. The default MSTS consist editor is part of the default MSTS Activity Editor. This editor does not like hi-poly models, hence my use of TNF which is very forgiving. However, the downside is there may be problems using TNF consists in the activity editor. I've never been involved with activity editing, so I'm a newbie at that, even after all these many years.

That cabview has an alias to the common.cab file to get the wiperbut.ace file. Unfortunately there is an exteraneous x at the beginning of the alias file, if that is removed I believe the cabview will work as is.

You can find it in the comcab.zip file over in the f/l @ trainsim.com; you can just copy the wiperbut.ace file into the ma & pa cabview folder and then take out the alias to the common.cab/emd/ reference in the ma & pa cvf file. This works on the files I have used to test this model.

Hi'ya Walter,
Didn't you previously have a problem with a spurious character appearing in an ENG? I'll have another look at the ENG later on. Thanks for the feedback.

Hmmm, after mature reflection - a spurious character, or an omitted bracket - or extra bracket, could cause this type of (typo) error. I'll do an ENG check right now. :lol2:

About midway down the ENG, in the Wagon section, correct incorrect shape name to BZZ-SG-ERIE-BEDT-BC.
Wagon ( BZZ-SG-ERIE-BEDT-BC )
