Of course, OR isn't optimized for Eyefinity, but it does work. The cabview is pretty much unusable, but the exterior shots are GREAT. Basically, Eyefinity stretches the desktop as if the three monitors I have are just one veeeery wiiiide monitor. In my case, 5760 x 1080!
So, what does OR look like? well, I couldn't get a screenshot, but you can see the entire train in Camera 4 group. It was pretty amazing!
Anyone else tried it? I'll try to get a screenshot to throw up here...

I have an Eyefinity installation on order. I'm planning for 3 monitors in portrait mode 3150 x 1680, but can try your configuration too.
When it arrives, I'll post some photos from my digital camera.

We'll need to add some more settings in Menu > Options > Video > Window Size then :-)
If you want to try it for yourself, standard Windows will spread OR across 3 monitors but, as James reports, it's not very smooth.
Presumably Eyefinity is designed for the job. I read that it has bezel compensation so that diagonal lines crossing from one monitor to the next are not broken by the edge of the monitor.

Basically, the whole point with Eyefinity is to trick Windows into thinking you actually have a monitor that is 5760 x 1080 (for example) as opposed to three separate monitors. Obviously, then, anything full screen will be across all of your monitors (up to six!). Not too great for, say, a spreadsheet, or even browsing the internet, but absolutely spectacular for playing games!
It's probably not going to work with our cabviews, since it stretched it to 5760 wide, but it may have potential with 3D cabs.

The screenshots didn't work, but I did get PTR SCR to save an image on the clipboard:
ORWIDE.jpg
A bit distorted at the edges, but it looks much better in real life!

Robert, with all that visual real estate you should play around w/ the FOV. I'll wager on doing so you will substantially reduce the angled distortion along the right and left edges.

Just a minor slightly off topic point here, Because Windows works OK with multiple monitors some have assumed MSTS will work on all large screen installations. This is NOT correct, I have two systems with single 2560x1600 monitors MSTS crashes on both systems when Windows (NOT MSTS) is set to this resolution, one has to put it back to 1920x1200 to run the MSTS's tools, not satisfactory at all.
I partly have got around this problem by running MSTS on an adjacent Linux system using the wine windows emulator, works well, MSTS under this will run on any sized monitor as long as one specfies wine to run in a window, good, :sign_rockon: ;).
