We use Launchpad, a specialist service for tracking bugs, so bug reports don't get overlooked and so you can be notified of progress.
Before you rush off and enter a report, do consider:
- Is your problem caused by a bug in OR?
- or perhaps a fault in your model?
- or perhaps a feature that OR has included yet?
Feel free to post here asking for guidance. You may find that others have seen something similar or know how to correct your model.
If the odds are that you're looking at a bug, then use the Bug Tracker to report it. (Our developers give priority to the bugs listed there.)
When you first visit the Bug Tracker to leave your report (use the link Report a bug on the right), you will be prompted to register with your email address (This can be kept private.)
Please attach to your report a copy of the file OpenRailslog.txt as this contains any error messages and lists your OR settings, the route, activity or consist. You can find this file on your WIndows Desktop. If a screenshot would help, then attach that too.
Thanks for your help in supporting Open Rails.
