This car has been referred to as both a “Rail and Tie Car” and as a “Block and Tie Car”. It was converted from an old 6000 series flat car which was built in 1887, and is the oldest series of D&RG flats known to still exist. 06084 has been completely rebuilt by the “Friends of the Cumbres and Toltec” and presently resides on the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic RR, at Chama, NM.

To install: create a new folder under your Trainset folder and copy the files, to that new folder.

This model was made from plans by J Robinson Published in "A Century + Ten of D&RGW Narrow Gauge Freight Cars, 1871 to 1981" by Robert Sloan. These plans were supplemented with measurements and photographs made by myself. The historical data in the first paragraph above is from this same book. Initial testing and all tweaking and physics adjustments was done be Howard Saunders, and final testing was done by Herb Kelsey. The screenshot is courtesy Howard Saunders

Enjoy, Bill
