This is a model of the class C 80-3 three truck shay 5.(SN 1503) This shay was built in 1905 for the West Virginia Pulp & Paper Co's route at cass. She is the only shay left out of the some 17 shays built for the cass railroad. She is special in the fact that she is the second oldest shay surviving and the oldest shay in operation on its home rails. Well over 100 years old, she still hauls trains for the Cass Scenic Railroad up the 11% grade at cass. This model will only run in Open Rails Only. --EDIT Fixed for the current version of open rails. ------

Just updated the engine with the fixes for the newer versions of Open Rails. Also some tweaks.


Fixed are the alpha textures which became botched up on a newer version of the sim.
Fixed some physics.
Fixed the outputs for smoke and steam with the addition of steam form cocks, pops, and whistle.
Tweaked the cocks for downward shooting of the steam.
Let me know if something ain't working
