File Name: Old 4 Axle CN Coaches
File Submitter: Noisemaker
File Submitted: 23 Sep 2012
File Category: Heavyweight Passenger Cars Std Gauge

Some freestyle repaints of the Pentacosta coaches by Julien Cachemaille; A definitely old and weathered look to them. Low poly, and would look good on a distant yard spur. Or just as fine running with an old steamer.

Did you ask Mike Knott for permission to use his models?

As far as the original Read Me stated - Teemu Saukkonen was the originator of the models. No mention of Mike Knott anywhere?

Nope. Those are the blue and yellow coaches. You repainted the coaches that were repaints of Mike's coaches from his R&N 425.

Steve,
You just can't grab someone's model, re-skin it and then upload it for all to use without getting permission from the author first.
The model belongs to someone else. The texture map(s) are his as well.

I'm not saying you are or have, but this thread seems to be going in that direction.

Peace, my friend. ;)

This is what it states in Julian's Read Me - and thought these were the coaches I was revamping.....

Heavyweight Passenger Cars :
----------------------------
"JUL P-express coach1",
"JUL P-express coach2",
"JUL P-express Buffet",
"JUL P-express baggage".

Train surfers, try the passengers inside view! (5 on the keyboard)

Original model by Teemu Saukkonen (enocell@hotmail.com).
These models are released as freeware. If you intend to modify and distribute files of this package, do it for free and mention original author's name.

So my apologies if things got confused. ;)

This discussion shows exactly why I quit uploading anything anywhere. It is way more hassle than its worth.

"Everyone gets theirs someday" Said the private eye holding the gun towards the cop. "Here chief, you might need this as evidence... What are you all in a huff for anyways? Lovers quarrel, murder suicide. I just got here when all the fun was over is all" ;)
