Wayne,
Would you be willing to share that version of L&PS for us fans?

It should be fairly easy to do. Rather than distributing the entire route, I think instead I can provide a small kit of replacement texture files etc that the end user drops into the right directories. These files, along with the official DBTracks download, would be all thats needed. I'll work on it.

"nother question... Are you 'modifying' your original route or the latest v3 by Trainamania (Nick)?
Reason I'm asking is because I get pretty poor FPS with occasional freeze frame action with Nick's version.
I prefer the ol' original route, myself.

I apologize to the OP for going off topic.
My version of the L&PS is a hybrid of Nick's improvements and some old stuff and some newer stuff of my own and others. I don't want to confuse things by releasing my version - at least not until it is far enough along to be considered a respectable version 4. There may be a way for me to get the track texture changes out such that they can be dropped into either V2 or V3. I'll give it some thought.

Please feel free, this is very interesting to read about as i love the L&PS and consider it one of the classic routes...esp the era which is my fav time frame. I had looked at the DBtrack system and agree it is good and i am hopeful the road set will be good too, the MSTS default roads are useless for accurate route making. thanks for the replies re OR, i will give it a go as soon as i clear some projects and do some "real" work i owe to a gallery that has been very patient :sign_thanks:....have to pay the bills too .. :)so carry on about the track replacers ...
