File Name: Re work of UKN track system
File Submitter: refman
File Submitted: 18 Feb 2012
File Category: Miscellaneous (Everything Else)

A rework of the UKN track system as found in XTracks. These files will overwrite the originals so please check the readme file before you do anything.
The new shapes are positioned much closer to the ground terrain.
Dynamic trackwork should be converted with Dynatrax as usual to the UKN profile. Then using Shape File Manager open the .s file and scale the shape by 1 in the x and z axis and by 1.6 in the y axis.
Then shift the complete shape by -0.26 ( that`s minus 0.26 ) in the y axis.
Finaly WordPad edit the .s file changing the entry

Image ( UKNCleanTrack1.ace ) to Image ( UKNCleanTrack4.ace )

Re-compress the file and away you go.

Wow! That looks like Rail Simulator! Would love to convert say the London & Port Stanley with this, could that be possible? Or this is only for routes that have the UKN track in place already?

I cheated abit with the picture as this file is for the track sections and textures only.
I will upload the trackside vegetation as soon as I have finished it.
With a bit of help I now have a DynaTrax profile for the new UKN system, and will upload that next.
Cheers
Reg
