MSTS SOUNDS AND ENGINE FILE FOR NP BALDWIN 525 DRS-6-6-15
SOUND FILES AND .SMS BY RON FURTO
USED WITH PERMISSION

Unzip to your desktop then drag and drop into your NP_525_DRS-6-6-15 folder. Overwrite the .eng file when asked.

Shortly after the release of the NP Baldwin 525, it came to my attention that the engine portrays the prototype after the 1959 re-powering with an EMD 567c prime mover. Hence, the sound reference made with the original upload incorrectly points to the Baldwin 608 sound files by Matt Imbrogno. These files will supply the correct EMD 567 sounds and an adjusted .eng file that points to them.

My thanks to David Carleton for pointing out that the 525 was a repowered unit. Thanks also for Jim Bebenroth for testing the Furto sounds and making the changes to the .eng file.

A version of the engine, as originally numbered (177) and powered will be made available soon.
