BLLW GG1 Postwar Pack for Microsoft Train Simulator
Original Shapes and Textures by Dick Cowen
PRR Tuscan Red 5 Stripe, and DGLE 5 Stripe replicated by Thomas J Pearce

BACKGROUND
The GG1 itself is truly a machine of legends. With the first units being built for 1935, and the final batch being delivered in 1943, over 100+ GG1s found employment on the Standard Railroad of the World's electrified east coast routes. So durable were they that they toiled onward, outliving the company that ordered them, and finally being retired by the likes of Conrail, New Jersey Transit, and Amtrak by 1983.

INSTALLATION NOTES

To install

1. Install the Common Sound set for Tim Muir's Milwaukee EF-2's (found under efcomsnd.zip) Make sure this sound set is installed in your Common.snd folder. The reference should be Common.snd/MILW_EF-2)

2. Run "BLLW GG1 Pack.exe", making sure the path points to the proper location of your Train Simulator copy.

3. If you already have the BLLW P70 Pack 1, go into your consists folder, and copy the spare consists out of the "REQUIRES BLLW P70 PACK 1" folder into your consists folder.

NOTE: If you do wish to use the original GG1 Sounds, they have been included in here already. Simply go into the BLLW-GG1-Pack directory and copy over the engine files found in the "NON-ALIASED ENGINE FILES" directory.

Once installed, you should have twelve new and shiny GG1s available in your MSTS Listings.

SPECIAL THANKS TO:

Dick Cowen, for the amazing GG1 model! It was a pleasure to reskin!
Dwight Mitchell, for the BEST cabviews in MSTS to date. Fully MSTSbin compatible, and good graphics to boot!
