BLLW "1947" American Freedom Train for Microsoft Train Simulator
Original PA1, Baggage, Sleeper and Observation Shapes and Textures by Dick Cowen
P70R "Exhibit" Cars Custom built by BLLW Rolling Stock Department
Custom PA1 Cabview by Dwight Mitchell
1947 American Freedom Train replicated by Thomas J Pearce and Nick Hovey
Installer by Tom Pearce

BACKGROUND
The PA1 locomotive was a joint project of ALCO and GE between September 1946 and June 1950. Each unit in the PA1-PB1 series boasted 2,000 HP from an ALCO 244V16 diesel engine. A total of 173 PA1's were built, with 40 PB1's to compliment them.
The 1947 American Freedom Train was created in 1946 and began touring the country from 1947 through 1949, making stops at all major cities to display its collection of historical documents. Among these were the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and many other historical documents. The train ran with a Presidential Authority assigned to it, making it higher priority than even a top name passenger train. Its Consist (and MSTS consist alike) included an ATSF Heavyweight Baggage car modified with a generator, Three P70R Coaches from the PRR modified with blocked out windows, Climate Control AC, and many other features, two Heavyweight Pullman Sleepers for the trains crew and Military Guard, and an Observation to bring up the rear.

INSTALLATION NOTES
To install, run "1947 American Freedom Train.exe", making sure the path points to the proper location of your Train Simulator copy.
Once installed here, you should have the 1947 American Freedom Train, and a Canton Patriotic RS3, available in your MSTS Listings.

SPECIAL THANKS TO
Dick Cowen, for the amazing PA1 and RS3 models! They were a pleasure to reskin!
Dwight Mitchell, for the BEST cabviews in MSTS to date. Fully MSTSbin compatible, and good graphics to boot!
Nick Hovey, for the idea to replicate this unique train.
Shelley McCullough, for her assistance with my many questions about the logos and emblems on the train. Without her help, I'd probably still have the wrong emblems...
