A lo-o-o-o-ng way from home. And going the long way around to get there!
I wish there was a way to anchor points of a part. That is, I wish there was a way to PARENT points. That trolley pole in back needs a rope to the retriever, but with it being parented to the #2 bogie, the rope would move with the pole, with it's retriever end with it. If I could parent the end points of the rope to the retriever, and the pole end points to the pole, that would work. but, that's just a pipe dream, isn't it? I could get away with it on the steeplecabs, as per observation of old photos, the rope was often tied to the grab irons on the hoods, and having the ropes end at those grabs, it would 'slide' along and not look too funky.
Just a thought......

Well, how bad would the rope look? It would be most noticable on city curves, but then are you watching the train from behind in that situation? Otherwise, the rope would just "connect" to different points on the retriever. More importantly, the rope would be correctly visible in almost all other views.
