Green Mountain Railroad leased a batch of 40' boxcars from Itel Rail in 1966 and they remained in revenue service until 1982 hauling bagged Talc. They were regulars on the D&H Bridge Line during this time.
Many of these cars lingered on in various locations around the Vermont Rail system in maintenance service and sold to lineside businesses as extra storage.
The four cars in this package went to Steamtown for storage and when steamtown moved to Scranton Pennsylvania, the cars went with them and remain there now.

An Origional Freeware, repaint of Larry Goss' 40' boxcar by Christopher Parker.
Physics are Bob Bodoin's latest for this car.
This is a release of Northern Vermont Locomotive Works (NVLW) and the Vermont Rail Action Network
