Hello,
When I try to play my own route in OpenRails I get this error. Can anybody help me?
(Sorry that my windows is Dutch...)

Hmm, interesting. Is your sigcfg.dat file missing the LightTextures section? That might explain the error. I think just adding "LightTextures ( 0 )" will stop the crash and you'll instead get an error that every signal type has invalid light textures.

In my Sigcfg LightTextures aren't missing. So that can't be de cause of the error.

Could you attach the complete OR log?
Off course! Here it is :bigboss:.
EDIT: Woops... I have forgotten to push the "attach this file" button. OpenRailsLog.txt (53.27K)

Nothing stands out in the log. Is it possible a SignalType is missing its SignalLightTex? Is the route publically available, so I could try it myself? If not, would you mind sending me just the sigcfg.dat?

Yes, some signals haven't got a LightTexture, because they're unlit...
My route is still in development and not yet public for download, but here's my sigcfg :bigboss:. sigcfg.txt (69.28K)
Number of downloads: 374
(Maybe it is an idea to make an invisible texture for the unlit signals?)

It's meant to use our built-in "debug" texture (which is just yellow I think) for missing ones but unfortunately the code reading the sigcfg.dat file is using null as the default instead of "" so it crashes instead. :bigboss:

Thank you very much! My route works now! The only little problem is that the route is very heavy, and my RAM doesn't have enough power to do it, so I think I have to upgrade my RAM...

Would you like to post your machine specs first?
MSTS is very CPU hungry, rather than ram hungry.
Cheers
