Nice shots everyone! nothing like a good winter picture. Rick, which caboose (the greyish white one) are you using in you red mountain gorge shots?

My 3' NG logging Caboose. It's here in the file library, Steve.
It's the dirty old nasty one. I thought it'd look pretty good behind an old coal drag...:whistling:

Well, I thought they looked pretty good, too.:whistling:

And, happy new year to you, too.:oldstry:

Is that a passenger view, (key 5), you added to the caboose? It's cool.

No, I think I was either messing with the 2 or 3 key and wound up with that. Or it might have been a lucky grab in key 4, I don't remember. Although a 5 key view there is a great idea! Is there a way to rig that up?

Thanks,
Sam

Yes there is, Sam. Herb did it to one of my cabooses then sent me a screenshot that blew me away. IT WAS cool.
You'll have to edit the .eng file by adding a passenger view then adjusting the X, Y, Z axis to suit your needed view.

I'll get back to you on it unless someone else beats me to it.

I'm editing this post as Herb, below, has posted the proper cab view.

Here's the one I did for the logging caboose:

Inside (
PassengerCabinFile ( rahcaboose3.s )
PassengerCabinHeadPos ( 0.30 2.59 1.75 )
RotationLimit ( 60 190 0 )
StartDirection ( 0 0 0 )

Like your 'accidental' shot it puts the ladder in the right side of the view and has you standing on the platform looking forward. Or backwards down the track if you turn the caboose around.

Thanks Herb! Just throw it anywhere in the file? And in your earlier post, you said .eng? Do you mean .wag or will I have to make it a locomotive?

Thanks,
Sam
